First Club Meeting & Service Project Planning

The first club meeting of Rotary Year 2026–27 set the direction for the year ahead. The meeting brought members together to discuss the President’s vision, major avenues of service, proposed projects and the importance of active member participation in implementation. Key initiatives discussed included Rotary Mentor for Employability, the proposed Water ATM project, medical service activities and other community initiatives. Members were encouraged to suggest projects and participate in building a year focused on measurable outcomes rather than only one-time activities. This meeting therefore served as an important starting point for converting the year’s vision into an actionable project calendar.

Date: 3 July 2026. Location: Online / Zoom. Status: Completed. Beneficiaries: RCPU members and, indirectly, communities that will benefit from planned projects. Impact: Converted the new-year vision into an initial service and activity roadmap and encouraged members to take ownership. Team contribution: President and club members participating in planning; Avenue Directors should be credited against their projects once confirmed.
