Medical Screening Camp – Paranjape Vidyamandir

RCPU conducted a large-scale student health screening programme at Paranjape Vidyamandir, Kothrud, beginning in August. The programme involved multiple volunteer shifts and medical screening activities designed to reach a large student population. The activity included registration and systematic screening by the medical team, with the programme also incorporating an educational component for students. This project is an important example of RCPU’s effort to take preventive healthcare directly to educational institutions and combine medical screening with awareness and early identification.

Date: 17–21 August 2026. Location: Paranjape Vidyamandir, Kothrud. Status: Ongoing as of 21 Aug. Beneficiaries: Students of Paranjape Vidyamandir, Kothrud; more than 3,100 were planned for coverage. Final count should be updated after completion. Impact: Takes preventive healthcare directly into a large school population through organised screening and student awareness. Team contribution: RCPU medical-service team, volunteer shifts, doctors/health professionals and school coordinators.
